Dickinson Successfully complete DCS system upgrade for Albright and Wilson using Siemens PCS 7

Our client who manufactures Surfactants using a technology supplied by Ballestra and Baker Perkins needed to replace their existing YEW and TI system due to age, unreliability and the cost and lead time of replacement parts. Fidera introduced Dickinson as their partner to carry out the upgrade and were the principle contactor for the project. This worked extremely well as Fidera had many years of knowledge gained from providing support for the old systems and maintaining the instrumentation. PCS 7 was selected as it represented a low risk in the changeover as the existing TI I/O could be maintained for Ballestra with the Baker Perkins part being smaller in I/O using YEW was completely replaced.
